Dust is a pollutant that can have a significant impact on your eye health.


Prolonged exposure to dusty environments can threaten the health of your eyes, cause discomfort and irritation in the eyes.

Dust is a dry powder consisting of tiny particles of waste matter lying on the ground or carried in the air.

These tiny particles are easily airborne and can  get into the eyes, causing irritation in the eyes.

Dust can pose a significant threat to eye health, causing conditions such as

•dry eyes
•conjunctivitis
•blepharitis.

Prevention is key
You can prevent dust from entering your eyes by putting on a protective glasses when working or walking in a dusty environment

What to do when dust enters your eyes?

• Get a bow of clean water
• submerge your eyes inside it
• wash your face with clean water.
